PETERSEN
MEDIA: Justyn Cox is excited to announce he will be back aboard the
Willie Croft Racing No.29 for this weekends running of the Trophy Cup in
Tulare, CA.
Cox has teamed with Croft earlier this year and another one of the
biggest races on the West coast as he competed in the Gold Cup Race of
Champions.
After a two-race stint aboard the potent Rod Tiner Racing machine,
Cox is excited to team back with Croft for what is the biggest race of
the year in California.
One of the major draws to this weekends event is the unique format
that is utilized. Each time a driver hits the track points are awarded
for finishing positions. The 80 cars on hand will get shrunk to the 24
best, and the 50-lap finale on Saturday will be line the field up
completely inverted.
With action all over the track, with the best in the business it’s a ‘can’t miss’ event.
This weekend will mark Cox’s first start at the track this season,
and first visit to the high-banked 1/3 mile facility in three years.
“I’m excited to get back racing again after having two weeks off,”
said Cox. “I had some good runs with Rod Tiner, and can’t wait to get
back behind the wheel of Willie Croft’s car. He has really good
equipment, and I’m hoping for another great weekend.”
Justyn would like to thank STL, College Cyclery, Oakley, and 7 Industries for their continued support in 2011.
ON TAP: Justyn will now head to the Tulare Thunderbowl on Friday and
Saturday for the Trophy Cup as he takes the wheel of the potent Willie
Croft Racing No.29.
