JA Ready for KWS Finale
PETERSEN MEDIA: Saturday night, Jonathan Allard and his Williams
Motorsports team will look to end the 2011 King of the West season on a
high note as they will be in competition at the Giant Chevrolet Kings
Speedway in Hanford, CA for the Cotton Classic.
Though it’s been over 2 months since the last KWS race, the last
event was in Hanford, CA and JA was a threat to pick up the win until he
hung his right rear off of four late in the race and faded back to
fourth.
Heading into the finale, JA currently sits in the fourth spot,
though he is in striking distance of the third spot as he currently sits
just 15-digits behind Brent Kaeding.
Kaeding is scheduled to be in action Saturday night after returning from a broken leg last weekend.
“I am focused on getting this team in victory lane this weekend,”
said Allard. “We’ve been close the last few times out, so hopefully we
can end our drought this weekend. It should also be fun fighting with
Brent for the third spot in the points, but the best thing to do for
points is to win and end the KWS season just like we started it.”
ON TAP: JA will be in action Saturday night for the Cotton Classic at the Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway in Hanford, CA.
