Does anybody know what's up with the Pilot Raceway News? It always used to be updated frequently and had new pictures. Now the stuff is a week old at least, and one picture that's been there for more than a week.

not being a smart a** but maybe its called a holiday.
the site is seconday to the paper, so i am sure the paper comes first.
i was thinking the same thing my self, but then thought about missing one day

The guy that was updating the website, Mike L, is no longer working there. I am guessing with trying to get someone new broke in, the website has taken a back seat to other duties. We were lucky to have Mike running the site, and can only hope they get something going soon, or they will lost lots of visitors quick.

It wasn't just this week Jim, or I would not have thought much about it. And, yes, you might have been being a smart***, I know you! LOL I agree with Steph and Love2race, it would be a shame if they let that site go, I think a lot of people really enjoy it and go to it often. Hopefully they will be able to get back to updating it soon.

I will miss Mike at Pilot Raceway News. He did a great job weekly with the race reports and the coverage. It was a tough job every Monday morning downloading all those photos and writing captions.
You can go to www.newimages-race.com for current race photos from MCRA Slayton, Jackson Speedway, I-90 Kart Speedway Blue Earth and Nobles Speedway Worthington. No articles, but lots of cars for you viewing pleasure.

it would be a shame to lose the site. i just thru it in the holiday mess and did not think much of it.
i know my work, the holiday messes it up big time.
by the way i am not backing down or admitting i was wrong. so there. lol
hopefully we will be reading a new pilot raceway news page soon
