The much talked about and much voter approved Oklahoma Racing History Tidbits page is coming but it may be a couple of weeks. My server guy and webmaster is backlogged on other projects but will develope a page soon so we can post our race stories from both on and off the track from the old days. Also we will be able to post pictures of old racetracks if people have them.
It sounds like it will be a deal where you go and post it, it comes to me for approval and then I allow it. Unlike posting on this message board, those posts will be there for all to read now and in later months and years.

Sounds great, David. Don't know if the truth is going to be important to this page or not, but you might want to keep in mind something I learned in the service....if a story starts out with "Now, this is no $#@%," chances are at least part of it MAY be made up, or at least creatively remembered. Shane Carson has encouraged me to post some of the old MAR-CAR photos he lent me, so you can anticipate seeing those when you get up and running. Let us know an optimum size and density for posting photos and THANKS for putting this thing through.

I had forgotten that Shane is a lurker here on tidbits. Hopefully, when Shane reads this, if he don't want to post any of it then he will have somebody else post his stories on here for him. I will find out, when the time has come, just exactly what we can post.

Outstanding,David ! I was in Southern Okla. this past weekend and weny by the old Woodford track and was going to drive in there & have a look around but from the looks of things I probably would've gotten stuck in the mud. I didn't want to be out there in BFE trying to explain to AAA where I was at to try and get a wrecker out there !
