And not just any Outlaw race... Gold Cup!!!
Here's a question... in 10 years, what will he be doing? Will he be the next Steve Kinser? Jeff Gordon? Will Power? Lewis Hamilton?
Wow, what a future he has!
Has any driver ever led every lap of Gold Cup before?

Not only Calif. winners two years in a row, but Andy Greg was 3rd. Sat. for the best finish ever at the Gold Cup for a Chico based car and Fri. all three drivers in the top three were from Calif. Gregg`s 3rd Sat. is the first time a Chico based car has placed better than fifth place.

Mike,
I don't have the stats to check but I think Shane Scott was 5th in about
'86 or 7 somewhere. I remember him telling me it paid something like
$3750 for 5th.
I'm sure someone with all the info can tell if I'm right or wrong!

Troy H. said that 5th was the best Chico finish before Saturday. He must have been talking about Shane. I am not one for fine details like that. It was a Calif. Gold Cup for sure. Elk Grove drivers stood out all four nights.

California would have had 3 cars saturday in top 5 and 4 cars in the top 6 if Allard wouldnt have taken them out!! Both him and Suggs had great runs going too!

Thats funny Stevie Wonder was there and he saw it, being that JA has torn up the car nearly every race since Knoxville its possible it was a part failure that caused him to drive through the side of Suggs after he was clearly passed. Then again the steering wheel could have fell off. But maybe Alaska Fan can clear it up since he saw it and everyone must have had their eyes closed predicting the outcome!!
