Hafertepe and Scelzi’s Highlight Week
for Factory Kahne Shocks

most tracks and sanctioning bodies begin to wind down their 2011 campaigns,
Factory Kahne Shocks continue to get the job done wherever their drivers are
competing.
Up north at the Skagit Speedway, Factory Kahne Shocks had a
first time World of Outlaw winner Saturday night.
Driving the Rudeen Racing No.26, Sam Hafertepe, Jr wired the
field in a 40-lap slugfest to hold of Steve Kinser as he picked up his first
career World of Outlaw win.
The night got off to a lightning fast start for Factory
Kahne Shocks, as Paul Mcmahan and Jason Meyers posted the two fastest laps
during qualifications.
In Lemoore, CA Dominic and Giovani Scelzi continue to
dominate the 600 micro sprint competition. On Saturday night the Scelizi’s
completed the daunting task of each picking up both feature event wins they
competed in. That’s four features in one night for Factory Kahne Shocks.
Dominic clean swept the event in the Super 600 class as he
timed in with a track record, won his heat, won the dash, and ran away with
both 25-lap features.
In the restricted class, Gio was fifth quick, won his heat,
the dash, and too won both 20-lap features!
