Heat Three: Culver, Russo, Spencer, Bender... Main: Ryan Bernal (three in a row), Faria, Hamblin, Howell, R. VanderWeerd... 2010 CRA 410 champ and 2011 point leader Spencer (in Priestley's white #7) led early but hit one of the back markers on lap 16, Bernal led the rest of the way... Spencer came back through the field to seventh or eighth... Tim Brown won the California Lightning Sprint feature with Darren Hillberg and former CRA sprinter Bobby Michnowicz second and third.

Ryan Bernal is on fire, 3 in a row. I wonder what he is going to do next year. He has had 1 winged race so far or does he stick with USAC. If he does, pretty sure it will be in a different car.
