The full moon must have been hiding because it was a screwed up night for a lot of people ....that pretty much sums it up !
winners dont cry when they lose , they go back to the
drawing board and come back for round 2 !

Get a REAL racing fix and make the short drive to Brill Motor Speedway!!! Factory's, mini's, mods, e-mods, and champ winged sprints. We're giving away a DVD player in the grandstands, so come on out!!!!

NCRA in Enid was a great racin fix. Good car count.......track was a lot more racy for the features.............last lap pass on Brian Franz.........don't know who pulled it off though, but it was sweet, and to top it all off the race ended at 1015pm. Whoever those folks are that are running Enid are doing a heck of a job! Dogwater tell us what you thought about the show................
Now all they need is sprints.lol.
BTW in Fri. nights Mod A Main.........Goforth did a Stanley Reed pass on Roach (puttin the right rear in the other cars door) which didn't much look intentional.....as the track was VERY fast.......but Roach took exception and dove as hard as he could into Goforth in turn 3.......which on a track that fast was pretty damn hard. He did take Goforth out........but flipped himself about 3 times in the process. I still think someone should get a picture of that car on the hook and put it on a road rage poster. I realize this sounds a bit offensive........but when you dive into another car as hard as you possibly can and take yourself out in that fashion................you can't much blame someone for commenting on it. JMO And I really thought Holland flipped like 7 or 8 times..........that was the most astounding wreck I've seen this year................he was very lucky to not be seriously injured....
Also Michelle Decker flipped a couple of times off of turn 1in her super sprint. Didn't see exactly what happened or who was involved in the contact. But as much damage as there was on her car they really must have worked their tails off to get it back together for the B. Also Robert Sellers didn't make the A Main...... and Decker gave Provost all he could handle in the champs........just 1 or 2 more laps and she probably would have won. And the factory stock feature was an all out mess........as while officials were trying to black flag Justin Allen they got themselves all mixed up and threw a White AND checkered flag. they then proceeded to line the cars back up as if it was a caution and run the final 4 laps. Thankfully, it didn;t affect the outcome too much. Very heavy track all night.

One word -- cluster. There were so many intermissions that they took one with 11 laps complete in the Factory A. Then they wouldn't let the cars leave the track so they could actually go ahead and run the last four laps.
But a cluster night at the track still beats just about anything else. On most nights, SFS runs as brisk a show as you will find at a dirt track. I know a lot of that is due to the curfew, but I truly do appreciate the fact that things normally run pretty smooth. Now if we could just get rid of the concessions breaks, er, intermissions.
"I'd pay $15 to watch a sprint car sit still."

funny you mention that Kenny. What I find amusing is on nights where there is a large car count........Lanny is so uptight he could swallow a piece of coal and crap out a diamond. Seriously if you listen to the track radio he's just bitchin up a storm.......all b/c if he has 3 or 4 B Mains to run he can't take those hot dog breaks.
There are many many intelligent people who are of the opinion Lanny does not want a lot of cars at SFS. I think they may be right when considering why he won't fix the factory stock situation (the rules)----or enforce the rules in general. Thats why I really enjoyed last sat. show at Enid......they may not run sprints.....but they enforce their rules and take the time out to do it b/c they know that is how you PROPERLY build a great racing program.
