In a stacked heat race, we have Sills in the Bailey Bros. #01, Chuck
Gurney in the Bammer #11n, Scott Murray in his #72, and the mystery
car/driver....Jimmy Boyd in the Henderson #7n and Tim Green in the
Lovell Bros. #71n round out an absolutely LOADED heat race.
Here's a screen shot: Nearest we can tell it's Pat Rose in the 7, but I always recalled him in the 78.

Yes it's Gary Lynch from Salem OR at that time. If you have Speakers the anouncers just before they go green gives the lineup. Now gary lives in Redmond OR running Lynch Proformance Products.
I have a video on youtube at Madras Speedway June 18th 2011 with Lynch almost winning the race.

i had some inside info on this one,i worked for house of wheels and they sent me with sponsorship money and sign for car since i was already going to wrench another car there.
