Rumor down here is that Rand McNally is looking to add money to the posse teams.  The only hold-up is that Rand McNally has asked the posse to travel a bit.  Not much, but sometimes over 50 miles.  Lucas Wolf is doing some testing with the new possible sponsor tonight, but it looks like no others have looked the offer over.  Nice offer by Rand McNally if you ask me.  I may have spelled their name wrong, but I know they specialize in maps.  They both show you how to get somewhere, but here's the best part.  They show you how to get home with your tail between your legs also.  Good luck to any and all posse members that are able to land this great sponsor.

Hey Tex, when was the last time a Texan won a WoO race? Better yet, when was the last time a Texan finished in the top 10 of a WoO race?

Also, how's the weekly 410 racing going down there in the Lone Star State these days?

I have never claimed the Texas boys to be the best in the land. I have never claimed anything great about our guys. But, a guy by the name of Gary Wright does run a pretty stout 360 ANYWHERE in the country. He's been known to travel a bit. Not my fault that 410 racing is dead in Texas. But then again, I don't go blowing my horn about my guys either.

Why worry abouty spelling Rand McNally right when you can't even spell Lucas Wolfe's name right? Once again, what PA tracks have you been to? Still LOL funny that a guy who can't even watch 410 racing in his home state throws stones.

Gary Wright is a heck of a driver. Unlike you with the PA drivers, I have actually seen Gary Wright race often enough to know that. But PA is 410 country. Most of the fans really aren't into 360 racing

Come on, Mike. Have you looked at that Susky 360 field this year? Other than Lucas Wolfe and Chad Layton, how many names do you recognize racing there this year?

The 360s in PA are flopping big time crowd wise. According to a post on the Grove board, there 15 cars on hand and the crowd at Susky Sunday night was estimated at 200 fans during the 360 feature. I think those guys supporting Fisher this year are going to get the shaft sometime in June or July, just like the 410 teams did last year.

Doesn't help that the Susky promoter has alienated many fans to the point that some will never go back as long as Fisher is promoting the place. It is a shame that that ASCS National race at Susky is against a 410 race at Big Diamond. The 358s/360s in PA are always going to be viewed as a support class compared to the 410s, even with talented drivers like Jason Johnson, Gary Wright and Wayne Johnson in the ASCS field at Susky.

Where have I been all week? My wife had major surgery and I have been tending to her. Some things are more important than the crap that gets rehashed here.

As far as the Posse's week goes? I think that relegating several of the top teams to a $100 to $200 paycheck speaks volumes in itself.

let me get this straight, there were 410 races scheduled for Selinsgrove and New Egypt last night and you idiots are talking up 360 cherrypickers from parts unknown?

Yeppy the only locals that Texas and Canada worry about what they are doing. Its nice the Posse is so well known. Check the menu the Posse is doing alot of racing in the next few weeks. 71 some posters need to see the central PA 410 menu again.

Maybe the best racing, but most certainly NOT the best racers.

Tummy ache, not at all, tired of the ignorance of some, YES!

Great run by Lucas, see what happens when you leave the porch, nice to see the kid not be AFRAID like the others, likely winning big-time respect from the travellers as well.

It is a shame that Susky is in that position, adding another day of 410 racing for the big dogs to pad their stats sure worked in the 410 poll at the end of the year, guess this year will be different and maybe more meaningful.

It is a shame that the 358/360 is viewed as a support group by some, really. Heck, they used to run with the Outlaws at Eldora all the time but too often put on a better show and they dropped 'em. While the 410 has become a dinosaur in many parts of the country they are providing entertainment to the majority of the winged sprint can fans that are still left. Take It Easy....

lol...your story continues to evolve!

Suskie put ITSELF in the position they are in...outsourcing to the ASCS engine format and REFUSING to allow 358s to run...signing a 10 year deal when the fan turnout is questionable = high risk.

funny how Lucas was the whipping boy for your ilk when he ran NST...flip-flop.

He stunk out the joint with the NST but has come back to show the vast talent he does have. Not a flip flop, just tellin' it like it is, why don't you EVER try that instead of making up stuff, just one time maybe? Take It Easy....

PS As the official pom pom waving cheerleader of the Posse, they were where again last night and why?

So.................let me get this correct? If a guy live's in Texas, and they don't run 410's there anymore, then technically, he knows nothing about sprint-car racing? What I do know is that you guys brag and blow your horns day in and day out, telling us how the posse is gonna kick the Outlaw boys ass's everytime they come through, yet fail to get it done. You guys brag about a few of the WoO guy's sitting out the A-main, yet refuse to admit that this happens at about 75% of all WoO races this year. If you really want to consider the 18, d1, 11d and so on as "hitters" for the WoO, go ahead. It's your story. You also fail to mention that if the WoO guys aren't at the Grove, then your beloved posse won't go run with them. Hell, ONE, let me repeat that, ONE of your guys showed up last night. Also, if you wan't to lump Wayne Johnson in as a cherry picker, bring your locals to anywhere, USA and give em' a go at Wayne. He has proven his worth all over the country. Yea, your local racing is o.k., but get over the fact that they just got there butts handed to them again this past weekend.

texsprintfan: please tell me what other part of the country is keeping 14 WOO regulars out of the A main. That number could have even been higher if not for the provisional given to Kerry Madson and the 1st Alternate free pass to the Wild Child. Only 10 W)) regulars made the A main both nights but they still owned our local drivers, this time around.

It'll be interesting to hear what other parts of the country only have 10 WOO regulars in their A mains. Go Brian/Cris!

You know, I post on five or six different message boards because I am also a Modified and Late Model fan and this is the only board I post on where the same stupid argument gets rehashed every day. You know, it got old about three years ago. It really doesn't make this board that much fun to read.

The Outlaws win most of the races everywhere, and the locals in PA beat them once in a while. So what. It doesn't require a trolling post every single day to stir up the same argument. Lucas Wolfe went to New Egypt and all the other PA cars went to Selinsgrove. You can repeat it all you want and even use your "caps lock" key for emphasis. So what. What does it matter?

If you are an Outlaw fan, then you go watch the Outlaws race at New Egypt. If you are a fan of the PA 410 drivers, then you went to Selinsgrove. Each of them would have been fine choices.

You don't even know what I post if you think I have written that the locals were going to "kick the Oulaw boys asses" (Note that I fixed your spelling of "ass's.") I have never made a post like that because I just enjoy a good race; it's not life or death to me over who wins.

Considering the 18, D1, 11D as "heavy hitters" is not my story. I have never even mentioned Tony Bruce, Justin Henderson or Dion Hindi in any of my posts. I was glad to see Tony Bruce come in here early in the season to run Lincoln during one of his off weekends, just like I was glad to see Joey Saldana come in here and run early last season.

You may know a lot about Sprint Car racing, and if you do, I would look forward to reading what you have to say. Your spelling of Lucas Wolfe's name does make me kind of wary of your Sprint Car knowledge, however. I have been to less tracks than some people, but probably more than most. I have visited about 150 tracks, so I am not just a guy that sits in PA and never gets anywhere else. How about you? What places have you been to?

If you really know a lot about Sprint Car racing, then why can't you make sensible posts instead of just starting ridiculous threads designed to flame people? There was a great thread on this board a couple weeks ago about how to save Sprint Car racing in the future. There was not any flaming going on in that thread. Why didn't you contribute to that thread?

In my previous post, I just gave you an honest assessment of the way the overwhelming majority of fans feel about 360 racing in PA and why I am pretty sure 360 racing is not going to gain a foothold in the area. So the local racing in PA is "OK" Fine, have you been here to see any of it to form that opinion? What tracks have you been to here in PA? How can you have an opinion on the racing when you have never been here?

Even when I disagree with MSPN, at least it stays civil and we can have a reasonable dialogue back and forth without the blatant flaming.

This can be a great board to read and find out information, but not when every single day bring a new poster whose only agenda is to flame people.

I believe on Friday, Henderson had a transfer spot in the B. Hodnett did a slide job on Justin and didn't have him cleared and it took him out.

I doubt it was intentional?? They both were in transfer spots I believe.
