HANSEN RIPS #53 FROM FLOCK AT VENTURA

Garrett
Hansen of Manhattan Beach, Calif. got by Robby Flock on the final lap
of Saturday night’s 30-lap USAC Western Midget race at Ventura Raceway,
thwarting Flock’s bid for his 53rd career series victory. Hansen drove
the Hansen Welding/Fontana Beast and was trailed by Flock, Cory
Kruseman, Johnny Rodriguez and Greg Bragg. Kruseman led the first 26
laps and Flock led 27-29. Rodriguez emerged as the new series point
leader.
