Wiesz Brings Home 5th In Prestigious Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial!
By Gary Costa
Chico, CA – May 16, 2007…Colby Wiesz and the F&F Racing team dropped in a 410 power plant, and towed to Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA, for the prestigious Dave Bradway, Jr. Memorial. The F&F Racing team skipped the Saturday night 360 show at Placerville, to compete in the big event.

John from John's Racing Photos caught Colby taking the #X1 through its paces!
"The Ice Man" went out 25th and toured the ¼ mile with a 3rd quick qualifying time of 12.581. In heat race #3 action, Colby lined up in the 6th slot. When the green flew, Colby was making the 410 scream for mercy, and with some crafty moves, brought home the win in the F&F Racing Maxim.
When the lights went green for the main event action, Colby again was on the hammer, and continued to dice with the front runners. When the checkers flew on the prestigious 40-lap event, Colby crossed the line in the 5th spot.
What a great run! It must be a great feeling for the whole team to see the car perform the way it did: "Oh yeah, it was great. Every time we went on the track, the car was real competitive. It was also great to do well after a race that was named after Alan's brother."

Again! John catches Colby tearing into the Chico clay!
Comin' Atcha! The F&F Sprint car will be at Placerville Speedway this Saturday night. Look for Colby to "gas 'er up!" and look to improve in the points standings as he currently sits 7th in Placerville points.
Hooked Up! I would like to "Hook You Up!" with the team's website! It's a great way to keep up with Colby and The F&F Racing team! www.fnfracing.com/
Race fans we will also be starting a segment called "Wide Open with The Ice Man!" If you have a question or comment for Colby or the F&F Racing team, feel free to email Gary Costa @ [email protected]
