Skagit local classes still a go, but NWWT portion cancelled
Due to earlier rainfall and a poor weather forecast for the rest of the evening, combined with the long travelling distance for its race teams, most of whom are based out of Oregon and southwest Washington, the NorthWest Wingless Tour sprint car series and Skagit Speedway have agreed to cancel tonight's event at Skagit Speedway. However, at this time the track's local program has not been cancelled and is still a go for fans who are in the Burlington, Wash. area.
The NWWT and Skagit Speedway have agreed to look into possibly scheduling a make-up date for later this season. If there is one, it will be announced as soon as possible.
