I just got a call from Ron Bernhagen indicating that the scheduled April 30 opener at the Cedar Lake Speedway has been cancelled due to the continued rainy weather and very wet track/grounds.

We'll try once again next Saturday May 7 at the Ogilvie Raceway to get the UMSS season underway. Both the winged and non-winged divisions will be in action at Ogilvie, weather permitting of course. Let's hope for some NICE weather next weekend for a change. :-)

Green tea will be served if a race runs green start to finish. Black tea will be served if you get DQed or booted off the track. Which tea would you rather drink?
