BERNAL LEADS 360 SPRINT SERIES TO TULARE SATURDAY
Ryan Bernal of Hollister, Calif. is atop the 2011 USAC Western Coast 360 Sprint standings as the series returns to Gropetti Automotive Thunderbowl Speedway Saturday. He is 15 points ahead of Jace VanderWeerd.
Bud Kaeding has won both 2011 West Coast 360 features at the Tulare oval, with Bernal second in both.
Bernal is still seeking his initial USAC feature victory, while Jace VanderWeerd earned his first USAC triumph last year at Santa Maria, Calif.
