J-rod did win, during the race he was allowed to change a right rear, he asked USAC and then over the radio it was allowed and J-Rod got his spot back. The race continued, JROD wins, then 30 minutes later the officials said they made a mistake, and took the win away. I guess you can change the results once the race is over, sounds fishy to me....
