Round #1 of the Hoosier Tire California 360 Civil War Sprint Car Series kicks off this weekend, Saturday, April 9th at Petaluma Speedway. Already the all-time leader in Civil War Championships with five, defending champion Andy Forsberg begins his quest to become a six time winner in the F&F Racing #x1 this season. The Civil War Sprint Car Series is a staple of Petaluma Speedway and will visit the Baddest Bullring in the Bay Area three times this year as a quasi "home away from home" for the series. Only Placerville Speedway will host more races for the traveling 360 series than Petaluma this year. Doubling as opening night for Petaluma Speedway for the 2011 season as rainouts have forced cancellations twice already, this promises to be a can't miss for racefans with that racing Jones. Also on the card, the All-Pro Super Late Models and Dwarf Cars.
Gates will open around 4:30, with racing starting around 6pm.
Highway 101 North or South to Petaluma's Washington St. exit, then 1 block west to the Baddest Bullring in the Bay Area, Petaluma Speedway.
