Well I fully expected to see the Boards lit up the morning after Eldora, normally I do not leave until every thing has run, Yes even the Bombers & E-Mods. 1st to even have 2 B-Mains for the E-Mods (14 cars) was just stupid. When 1of them got upside down in turn 1 during the 1st b-main that was enough for this hardcore racing fan @ Approximately 12:30 am. With Another B & A main to come from the E- Mods & probably 2 B-Mains & an A from the Bombers would have made for a Super Late Night. Now the poor sprint car drivers. I really do not think I would have been upset if they would not have run. When we arrived they had used the magic fingers & were in progress of using the grader & sheepsfoot. In which we'd find out later that this would not help track conditions. If you ever wanted to watch cowboys run 800 horsepower bulls on dirt tonight was the night. It took almost 1 half hr to run the 1st 10 laps as they were rodeoing through the turns. By lap 14 they had lost 7 cars alone. Out of the 23 cars that started only a few more as what was stated on Hoseheads main page (top 10) would finish (13). As Diggs stated in his post Clayton's Cowling was busted from flying mud clogs from hell as was Brady Bacons. Bacons crew looked like they wanted him to stop & bring out a caution so they could fix the car. I think he'd had enough. The Demon would get things started @ the start of the feature the left rear would come off the rim & he bounced around like a pinball from the middle of turn 4 until coming out of 4 with everyone scattering behind him high & low. Chris Windom caught his right rear breaking his steering with him coming to a rest facing straight into the pits just past the flagstand. The Demon would finish 6th. Hines had a right front come off the rim then a couple of laps later the left front. Levi Jones would get upside down in 4 as well as Kevin Swindell. There was alot of drivers probably saying under thier helmets, here we go, but somehow managed to save the car. I have been going to Eldora for 44 years & found myself saying that maybe Saturday night might be the last until I find out that things get better & as a Fan I love the place just as drivers do. I would really like to have heard what some of them were thinking about the track .
