NSCS opener washed out Andrew Kunas, NSCS Publicist
ELMA, Wash. - Forty sprint cars were at Grays Harbor Raceway, but they didn't get to race as rain moved in and washed out the inaugural event for the Northwest Sprint Challenge Series. The NSCS staff and its drivers, however, are geared up and ready to go for Saturday's program at Elma.
The 40-car field was diverse, as drivers came from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, California, British Columbia, and Alberta to take part in this weekend's festivities.
After Saturday's scheduled event, the next NSCS event at Grays Harbor Raceway is scheduled for Saturday, June 30. The series will return on July 20 and 21 for the 1st Annual Fred Brownfield Memorial Sprint Challenge and again on Sunday, August 26 for a pre-World of Outlaws event.
