Black & Pink #21 "Breast Cancer Awareness Car" T-Shirt Design.
PETER MURPHY'S NEW BREAST CANCER AWARENESS T-SHIRTS

TULARE, CA – SEPTEMBER 29, 2010… On Saturday, October 2nd, the Groppetti Automotive Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway will host the final point race of the season for the USAC West Coast 360 Sprint Car Series. The special event called "Sprinting For The Cure" will raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Research.
In recognition of the event, veteran driver Peter Murphy of Clovis will compete in the pink #21 Tarlton & Son Inc. "Breast Cancer Awareness Car." Murphy is having t-shirts made that will feature the car and hopes to have them available this Saturday at Tulare. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer Research.
Available in black and pink, the front design will feature the names of every ribbon donor and honoree listed up until last Friday. The pink shirts will be available in small to XXL sizes, while the black shirts will range from small to 4XL sizes. The t-shirts are $20 (Small-XXL) and $22 (3XL-4XL). Quantities will be limited.
In addition to Saturday's event, Murphy plans to have the t-shirts available at Watsonville's Ocean Speedway on October 9th, Hanford's Cotton Classic on October 16th, and Tulare's Trophy Cup on October 22nd & 23rd. Peter Murphy can be reached at [email protected].
Joining the Traditional 360 Sprint Cars will be the IMCA Modifieds and Vintage Super-Modifieds. The Front Gates will open at 5:00pm, with Time Trials at 6:00pm, and Racing at 7:00pm. Reserved Grandstand Tickets are $25 and General Bleacher Tickets are $20. Advance tickets are on sale and can be purchased by calling the track office at (559) 688-0909.
