I am a new racer, I will have a factory stock ready to go in a couple of weeks. I live in OKC, I assume that SFS is the best place to race. How friendly are you to new guys? Since I have never turned a lap on dirt, where can I practice the car so I know what I am doing when the green flag drops? What else do you think I should know?

Thanks in advance,

Trent

JD's thoughts on a couple of sat. nights of seat time at Meeker is a very good and precise idea. SFS is the best place to race............by far the best in the state and most competitive. As far as other things to know.......there are some very good drivers in that class at OKC.........if lapped traffic is coming up on you make sure you note it and give em plenty of space. There are some other factory stock drivers that frequent this site and they may be able to help.......they know a whole lot more than I do about it.

Past that all of us fans welcome you to SFS and to this forum. Best of luck to you at the track.

Just remember one thing, don't get to worried about what other's think of you being a rookie, because they have been there to.
