WEST COAST 360s BACK AT HANFORD SATURDAY
The USAC West Coast 360 Sprint Cars return to Giant Chevrolet Speedway in Hanford, Calif. Saturday and series point leader Craig Stidham will try to protect his 44-point lead.
Davey Pombo is second in the points and has been on the podium after three of this season’s four Hanford features. He has a victory, a second and a third. By contrast, Stidham’s Hanford record in 2010 shows a second, third and a pair of sixths.
Stidham and Pombo have combined for six wins in the 15 series races so far this year. Stidham has four wins and Pombo two. The only other driver to repeat as a winner has been Bud Kaeding, who won at Hanford in July.
