On Friday, August 20, in addition to the A-mod Shootout, there will be a hornet special run at the Murray County Fair races in Slayton, MN.
As of today, August 7th, there is $665 added to the normal hornet payout, with more money coming in. So far the payout is $200 to win, 160, 130, 100, 80, 65, 55, and 35 for tow. There is also a trophy and $60 going to the hard-charger. The feature will be 12 laps, with a 12 car field, and laps will be added per additional car, up to 20 laps max.
There is no additional entry fee, and the races will be draw-redraw. The purse is guaranteed, and is getting bigger everyday.
