While we're asking what ever happened to, I've got one.
What ever happened to 'The Weapon" that used to be BK's team mate?

His career before sprint cars makes him that much more interesting. Part of the only all white band to ever headline the Legendary Apollo Theater in New York.
Apparently living in AZ according to this site. He was much more than a sprint car driver....

Wow, I never would have thought that! Thanks Petaluma Pits. Crousure was quite the driver in his day and I remember the first time I witnessed his run against the best at West Capital in the early 70s. He was very impressive and I am he sure ruffled some feathers with his all-out style. If not mistaken (time takes its toll on my memory), but I believe he won or was in the top three at a Gold Cup back then. He was living in Montana at the time. Bobby Gerould (Hammer Down) shows him winning two features at Calistoga back in the 70s and one was controversial. He was very impressive.

Credit to silverdollarspeedway.com's Gold Cup site, but in 1975, Crousore won the first "big money" Gold Cup which saw traveling teams (prior to WoO) show up for a $30,000 purse.
He's a guy whose legend will only get bigger as he was one of the ones in the 70's here on the West Coast.
