INDIANAPOLIS – Tony Stewart Racing Enterprises team manager Jay Drake and former USAC Ford Focus Midget Car Series champions Robbie Ray and James Robertson will be guests on the USAC Racing show Monday on RaceFanRadio.com. The two-hour show begins at 9 p.m. ET. Drake, who was hired to lead TSRE's National Sprint and Midget Car Series teams in 2007, rejoins the show as a call-in guest. The 2004 USAC National Sprint Car Series champion will discuss what he hopes will be another championship season for TSRE.
Ray, the 2003 Indiana Focus titlist and 2005 National Focus champion, will appear for the first time, and talk about his hopes to compete in USAC National Midget Car Series competition in 2007. Robertson, who has been an in-studio guest several times on the USAC Racing show, will return to talk about his expectations driving for Greg Steele on the USAC Regional Midget Car Series circuit.
Robertson will also bring along fellow Focus driver Craig Haack, who jumped into the USAC family last season in several different Focus divisions.
Also joining the show will be USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series contingent Danny Sheridan and Robert Mayson. Sheridan extended the CRA streak to 11 different drivers to win a race to open the year, while Mayson weighs in on the weekend.
Host Rob Klepper will also talk about the the upcoming races, the naming rights for the Sprint Car Series, and hopefully, talk about what could be the USAC National Sprint Car Series opener Saturday at Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway.
Other guests may be available, and will be announced during the show. The Fatheadz Trivia Question will be asked sometime during the first hour of the show.
