FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
USAC WEST COAST 360 SPRINT CAR SERIES

USAC WEST COAST 360 SPRINTS SIGN COMPETITION SUSPENSION AS CONTINGENCY SPONSOR

By Lance Jennings

BROWNSBURG, IN – APRIL 23, 2010… Competition Suspension Inc. has announced a contingency program for competitors with the USAC West Coast 360 Sprint Car Series. The company will award a $50 certificate to the drivers that win the third heat race of every program. To qualify for the contingency, competitors must display the Competition Suspension decal on their car which will be available at the racetrack and distributed by series officials.

For winning the third heat race at last Saturday’s event at the Santa Maria Speedway, Easton's Albert Pombo is eligible for a certificate from Competition Suspension. As of this printing, other eligible drivers include:

3/6: Tulare, CA - Ricky Kirkbride.
3/13: Hanford, CA - Justyne Hamblin.
3/27: Bakersfield, CA - Peter Murphy.
4/3: Tulare, CA - Jonathan Logan.
4/10: Tulare, CA - Peter Murphy.

The Brownsburg, Indiana based company began operation in early 2009. CSI founder Garrett Andrews, who was working for Andretti-Green Racing, wanted to return to short track racing. Having also spent time as a shock specialist with Vision Racing and Rusty Wallace Racing, Andrews had a goal. Bringing in Trent Andrew, who had worked in the Benic Enterprise shock department, to assist on the twin tube program was a vital step and the rest is history. Competition Suspension's inaugural year was a very successful one with 60 feature wins and several track and series championships.

Competition Suspension uses the highest grade components, lubricants, and seals to produce the best performing shock available. Perfection takes time and CSI's goal is to provide their customers not only with great customer service, but a quality product to help them get to the winner's circle. With a hands on approach at the races to gain valuable feedback, Competition Suspension is constantly testing new valving combinations to stay ahead of the rest. This information is shared with every customer that is a part of the CSI family.

The USAC West Coast 360 Sprint Car Series will hold their seventh round of competition on Saturday night, May 8th, at the Santa Maria Speedway. Also on the card will be the MMI Hobby Stocks, Powder Puff Mini Stocks, and Okie Bowl Hardtops. For event information, please visit www.racesantamariaspeedway.com.
