Joe Hunt Wingless Sprint Series Saturday
Winged and Wingless Sprints headline 5-division show.

Marysville- The MRP Winged Sprint Cars and the Joe Hunt Magneto Wingless Sprint Car Series will share top billing at Buttes Insurance Night at Marysville Raceway Park Saturday night. The MRP Super Stocks, BCRA Lites and the Pro 4 Sprints will also be presented. The ambitious 5-division show will bring 4 open wheel divisions into the house with point race #3 of the MRP Super Stocks offered for our fendered enthusiasts.

In the MRP Winged Sprint Car Series 4-time champion and current point leader Korey Lovell will be back with Gary Paulson in his quick #51 currently holding the runner-up spot. A complete program featuring the fan friendly Dual Heat Race Format will be offered. In addition to the winged car show The Hunt Magneto Wingless Sprint Car Series will bring some 30 cars to round #2 of this prestigious wingless sprint car series. This will be the 2nd in the 12 race series that will seed drivers into the Joe Hunt Wingless Sprint Car Series finale during this season’s Gold Cup in September. Every noteworthy racer in the class will be at MRP this Saturday.

In the MRP Super Stocks AND the Pro 4 Sprint Car Series a pair of “2 in a row” racers will try to make it “3 in a row.” Jeremy Hawes will try for 3 straight in the Pro 4’s and the “O-Man” Jeff Olschowka will try to make it a triple in the Super Stock class. Hawes and Olschowka have been unbeatable in dominating their classes thus far this season. The BCRA Midget Lites will round out the show.

The pit gate opens at 3PM. The spectator gates will open at 5 PM with Hot Laps at 6 PM. IMPORTANT: The first race will start after hot laps at about 6:30.
