INDIANAPOLIS – Dave Steele and Tate Martz are among guests on Monday’s two-hour USAC Racing show on RaceFanRadio.com, which kicks off at 8 p.m. ET. Steele, a two-time USAC Silver Crown Series presented by K&N Engineering champion and one of USAC’s most prolific pavement racers of all-time, will discuss his 2007 USAC plans. He is scheduled to make his 2007 USAC debut April 7 at Thunder Hill Raceway in Kyle, Texas in USAC National Midget Car Series competition, and will drive for Dynamics Inc. in the USAC National Sprint Car Series on pavement.
Martz, a three-time USAC Ford Focus Midget Car Series champion in the Midwest, moves up to the USAC National Midget Car Series in 2007, following a stellar Focus career in which he also set records for feature victories and a string of more than 15 straight Top 5s at one point. Also joining Steele and Martz will be Thunder Hill Raceway promoter C.T. Hellmund to tell guests about his 100-lapper at The Lone Star State, the ever-versatile Lynsey Tilton, and USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series car owner/driver Nadine Keller. The winner from this Saturday’s CRA race at Kings Speedway in Hanford, Calif. is also expected to join the group.
As usual, listeners will also hear from USAC/CRA PR Coordinator Robert Mayson to preview the upcoming series race at USA Race Park in Tucson, Ariz., and USAC Western Media Coordinator Bobby Gerould, who will recap the CRA race at Kings and preview upcoming Focus and Western Midget races at Ventura (Calif.) Raceway. And, after a couple days of rest, alter-ego Chuckie rejoins the broadcasting crew with the show’s host, Rob Klepper.
The Fatheadz trivia question will also be asked sometime between 8:30 and 9 p.m. ET, giving listeners the opportunity to win a free pair of Fatheadz sunglasses, valued at $100.
Listeners can contact the show with questions and/or comments via call-ins at 866-376-4720 or by email at [email protected].
