Hello All

I have some friends near Fort Gibson that we are going to visit this year, I was wondering what racing I might have a chance to see while in Oaklahoma??

Thanks from Northern California

Creek County Speedway in Kellyville and Outlaw Motor Speedway in Wainwright (south of Muskogee) are your perfect bets for that area. They both run on Saturday nights. You can check out their websites and what classes they run on the front page of my website at www.oklahomatidbits.com and click on the Track Directory link.

Hope this helps.

With about a 2.5 hour drive from Tulsa you can see 2 classes of winged 360 sprints, street stocks, pro stocks (pretty much late models), and modifieds in OKC on Fridays. Also there are tracks in Claremore and Port City that run mini sprints.

Thanks For all the info, I have a question though, what are Championship sprints and Super Sprints? I'm assuming 360's and 410's? Out here we have 360's (Pacific Sprints) cast iron block, spec hoosier right rear, but look just like a Golden State 410 (outlaw)....

Both classes run 360 flat top piston motors with a spec Brodix head. Champ sprints run a 500 cfm 2-barrell carb., and the Super sprints run injection. They both run 16sq. foot wings.

Depends upon when you're in Oklahoma, but there may be an ASCS race in the area.

Check the National schedule:

or the Sooner Region schedule:
