Tonight's heats are invert 8 by points and are typically very tough heats. After the heats, the top 20 in points go to the A, regardless of where they finished their heat. Tonight's A main drops by 5 per spot, so points can be made up.

Several drivers has tough luck. Kyle Hirst had a heat transfer and broke a wheel, then broke an axle running 5th in the A. Ronnie Day kept getting run into. Cory Eliason was thrilling to watch in the A, had a 3rd or 2nd in hand until a lapped car got changed the order.

Jesse Hockett, Brett Miller, Zach Zimmerly, Cody Darrah, Sean Becker, Jason Statler, Roger Crockett, Peter Murphy all missed the inversion of top 48 qualifiers, some of these had to even run non-qualifier heats. Very strong field allowed no margin for error in qualifying.

Great job by Stewart, especially cause he's running a ASCS legal 360. He also beat the open 360 guys this year at Placerville Speedway. I believe he will be the ASCS National Champion too!

The older I get, the faster I used to be.
