Susquehanna Speedway Park has had a lot going against it since Todd Fisher tried to resurrect it from mothballs three years ago. Yes, he's made some mistakes no doubt....this year for one, he gave up on the 410s and went strictly to back gate promotion two nights a week, which has most, including me, ticked off. But he's also fought having to run on off nights because there are a lot of other more established race tracks in the area....the facility itself is also pretty rough from years of neglect which hurts its appeal some....and even the NST put him $60,000 in the red. Now however even the neighbors are trying to force him to change his schedule. They don't want him running on two consecutive nights, Saturdays and Sundays, as he had planned this year. Is this the final straw that will break the bank for good? I still say no myself...above all else no one doubts the guy's persistence. Once the natives turn on you it can't be good however. More power to Todd Fisher at this point....give 'er hell to the bitter end. No one wants to see another race track end up disappearing.
