I just heard and I am dissapointed! :( I feel bad for the fans that have to fly home tomorrow morning/afternoon and can't see the B and A mains. I wonder if Speed will televise the race tomorrow night? Stupid rain!!!

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Unfortunately, Sunday's racing will not be televised.

SPEED went home. No tape delay either. If we get to see anything, it will be track video at some point.

In the immortal words of Bluto Blutarsky:

"Would have TNN packed up and gone home?...Hell no!"

"Would have Diamond P Sports packed up and gone home?...Hell no!"

"Would have have Steve Evans and Brock Yates packed up and gone home?...Hell no!"

"But noooooo, the Speed Channel, that piece of crap of a network, the one that brings you real racing shows like "Pinks", "Unique Whips" and "Car Crazy", packed up and split.

Knoxville deserves ESPN

I miss TNN and American Sports Cavalcade. Swamp Buggy races were sweet to watch. Speed when Fox took it over and was going to make it the NASCARP Channel it has gone down hill big time in my book.

SC, I could not agree with you more. I was surprised that my post did not inspire more replies. I suppose race fans are indifferent to that crap-channel, feeling it is better than nothing. The best racing on TV presently is the ESPN2 coverage of the NHRA. Mike Dunn does a great job and notice the low volume of commercials. They focus way too much on Force but thats probably what it takes to keep it a commercial success. Lucas Oil has their own TV production company and buys air time to promote their products...........if only they got more interested in our sport.

NHRA on ESPN2 in HD is one of the most impressive programs on TV of any kind. The slow motion camera and some of the other features that they use to put a show on the air are second to none. And with Gary Gerould doing the interviews at the end of the 1/4 mile it could not be better. John Force and his daughter are a bit over done but look at his record and team. Best racing program on TV.
