So we're up at the Mini Gold Cup this weekend, dry camping as we always do. Saturday someone comes by to charge us to camp there - something that has never happened in years past. I don't mind paying for camping, but we were charged the same amount as the people with full hook-ups! So by the time you factor in the cost of fuel for the generator all weekend, consider the wear & tear on my water pump, etc. what's the point in dry camping?

If you're going to charge me to stay, fine - no big deal paying 10 or 15 bucks to dry camp, but don't charge me the same as the people running up the fairground's water and electric bills.
