Young sprint car driver Justin Grant made a huge impression on Indiana sprint car fans @ Kokomo by rim riding to a third place finish aboard the potent Jeff Walker car. Indiana Open Wheel (IOW) forum fans raved about this young charger and called his battle with Cole Whitt and Hunter Schurenberg (100%) as one of the best races of the year. He is supposed to return to California for some BCRA midget shows and then return to Indiana for some more sprint car action. Where did this young racer come from? Hope to see him in action maybe at Calistoga.

Justin came out of the go-kart scene in Northern California. He has been driving the Dave Thurston owned BCRA midget that he won the 2007 BCRA championship in.

I screwed up. Young Justin ended up finsihing tenth at the Kokomo show, but was running with Whitt and Hunter most of the race, spun out and started at the back and was impressive as I stated in post above. Hunter and Grant were in team cars owned by well known owner Jeff Walker.
