Ryan Queensland serves as the Marketing Director and Events Coordinator at the Deer Creek Speedway near Spring Valley, Minnesota. Ryan tells Stan Meissner of RACEMN.COM how his family became involved with the track in 2002 and some of the challenges they have faced since taking over the facility. Stan asks Ryan about the historic Gopher 50 Late Model race, the upcoming first ever visit by the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series, the only Minnesota stop on the Outlaw tour in 2009. Ryan discusses the remaining special events on the Deer Creek schedule as well as the racing that takes place there each and every week. Finally Ryan explains why Modified racing reigns supreme in southeast Minnesota and how that division has helped make the Deer Creek Speedway a success.
