What should his punishment be?

If he's getting married that's punishment enough!

It is the season opener not the outlaw show Kramer but it does not matter. The groom tells me he doesn't live for Knoxville like me and Kramer , this ruins my opening night streak since 1993 , not cool . I 'm in the wedding and it is to far of a drive to make it back to kville that night. What does a man do please help me ?

Let your buddy know that the Hall of Fame will host a wedding reception on race night, for the right price.

Not that I would know this from personal experience or anything. :)

What's she look like?

If he's getting married for the money it's okay, if it's for love, good luck man!!

The bride wants the traditional type wedding in her old home town . I'm happy for my buddy but my soul wants to be in knoxville , am i selfish ? I would not miss a night for my own wedding , this is the last one I don't care whos getting married . Think to your self how many weddings you have been too.

consider putting a "hit" on the bride?

Getting married, sort of like hiring someone to make you miserable.

I have had many friends get married on race nights. There might be a reason why no one invites me anymore.

IF you have a large wedding, you will not see a race for the next ten years as you get invited to all of tpeople who were invited to's kids cousins friends ect.

A big wedding will get you 200 invitations where the ole lady makes you go.

I plain told my ex that I will NOT be going to anything on race day except the races.

I can not believe my own jids decided to get married on race day.

I will never go to anyone elses wedding now after the kids are married LOL

Last summer my wife and I spent a night at the casino in Hinckley, Minnesota, and we ate at the buffet. They were serving all you can eat crab legs so we chowed down on them, most crab my wife ever ate in one sitting. A few days later there was a big two-day race at Cedar Lake. She was in the emergency room on an IV with a severe allergic reaction while my son and I were setting up our camper at the track. Hey, what the heck could I do for her anyways? I'm not a doctor and my youngest daughter was with her. So as not to sound like a complete jerk she did tell me to go and we were in touch via cell phone. Never believe a woman if she says "go ahead and go honey, don't worry about me" read between the lines because she actually means "if you leave me here you'll pay for this you selfish b*stard." I've been paying for it ever since but my racing buddies were all praising me as a hero though none of them wanted to be in my shoes when we got home Sunday. ;)
