Congrats to Jared Ridge on winning his first career sprint car main event tonight with the ASCS Northwest Series in Great Falls, Montana. Jared almost won the Friday Dirt Cup prelim feature last week, but all it took was a couple mistakes to cost him the win so it's pretty cool to see him get it exactly one week later. His dad Randy Ridge was a long time sprint driver.

Thanx for posting this Gar. I am so happy for "Red". He is a great kid, and I know how much this means to him, let alone his dad (who was one of the first people I met when I first got into the sprints @ Scrapit over 20 years ago). Talked to his dad this morning, and he said that Red was having motor probs early on during hotlaps, and half the crew was not there, so the win was HUGE.
