Was down W.F/Lawton way on Sat. and drove by the Faxon Speedway and the small press box is gone and they have removed the concrete bleachers on the hill and earth moving equip. is leveling the hill and looked as if they are draining the pond by the track, So it is done for good from the looks of it, let me guess another housing edition going in with the many more that have already sprung up SW and West of Lawton.

Brian , Hell no he did not , we talked about that last year at the Winter Nat. at Da Bowl, got a laugh out of it, I'm thinking I might bring him a sack of pork Rines to Dallas next week and tell the Bullet that this is all that is all that is left. LOL, Man that was a long time ago, how is the restoration coming along with the ol sleds?

Car looks sweet, is that the Stanton copy that McClelland built that you got from me, if it is , sure does look different and the old hood now that is nice , and the the spinners and the Firestone RR , have not seen one of them in a while on a dirt car.

This is the car from Kansas. The Orange car from Liberty that you saw at Lawton in late '87. I think his name was Larry Carter. Remember when you got chewed out for getting the preachers daughter to pose in a string bikini by it? I still get a laugh out of that. Still got the picture too.

Goodguys at TMS alright. This thing turned a lot of heads because of its simplicity and the memories it brought back. I sneak it out on the backroads around here every now and then. I was thinking Court Granstaff owned this car and Jim Bell jr. wrecked it at Tulsa, then it was at Nance that a new front clip was put on by Carter. I'll be back tomorrow.

You are correct on Court owning it and Carter then owning it, Does it handle good on the gravel LOL, heck you need to build you a oval track down there and get out there and put some laps on it , heck that way you win every race,LOL. Car really looks nice.
