Siskiyou Motor Speedway
360 SPRINTcar race in Yreka, Ca on Saturday, June 20th, 2009
$1000 to win $125 to start. Yreka, California is an about an one hour and a half north of Redding, California and approximately one hour south of Medford, Oregon. The track is a fast 1/4 mile, high banked dirt track.

They needed to schedule this race on Sunday, everyone will be coming home from Skagit-Dirt Cup - a 410 race too. ;)

On a family vacation in 1978 we happened to spend a night in Yreka. It was during the fair and there was a mid-week stock car race. Being race fans, the family went. I remember it being narrow with fairly good banking. I hear it's wider these days.

I have an aunt in Yreka and I had no idea they had a dirt track there. I need to go there sometime and check it out :)
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!
Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!
