*Silver Cup Race of Champions Format Update*

By Troy Hennig, Silver Dollar Speedway Media Relations

*CHICO, CA* – Feather Falls Casino proudly presents the 28'th Annual Silver Cup Race of Champions at the Silver Dollar Speedway. Two nights of racing kick off Friday, March 27, and conclude on the next night, March 28.

The Format for this weekend's Silver Cup Race of Champions will be as follows; each division will qualify, run heat races and main events. Each night is considered a separate night of racing. Friday's main events will consist of 20-lap mains for wingless and dirt modifieds. The winged 360's are scheduled for 25-laps. On Saturday night, the wingless and dirt modifieds will run 25-lap features while the winged 360's will race a 30-lap main event. All of these lap totals could be subject to change depending on time constraints. This format opens up more racing for the drivers and fans.

Over $30,000 in purse money will be up for grabs among the three divisions on hand for this weekends racing action. The Dirt Modifieds, Wingless Sprints and 360 Winged Sprint Cars will compete on the quarter-mile clay oval speedway each night.

Front grandstand gate will open at 5:00 pm with racing slated to start at 6:30 pm. Friday night admission for adults is $15.00 with juniors $11.00 and children $5.00. On Saturday night, the adult general admission is $20.00, juniors $11.00 and children $5.00.

Sounds great. I was reading the column on the Silver Cup on the Silver Dollar Speedway website, and it said to check back on Thursday for some of the drivers already entered into this weekends action. Is this information still going to be made available?
