Franklin, Mn driver Dan Menk recently sat down with RACEMN’s Ray Beste to discuss the upcoming 2009 season. Menk talks about the possibility of not being able to race Midwest Modifieds at his home track if they switch sanctions, as well as his plans to do some more traveling in 2009. Menk also lamented that he’d like to do some traveling with the IMCA Sprint Car this summer, possibly participating in the Jackson Nationals. Dan totaled seven victories in all in 2008 including six in the Midwest Modified and one in the Sprint Division. Menk is the driver of the Ripka Machining Powered Schnee Chassis. Menk would like to thank his Father Steve, Gary Allex, Tyler Limoges and the rest of his crew that contributed to his success in 2008.
