Does anybody know why NCRA went to a 4 valve relief piston versus a standard 2 valve relief piston?
I see Lanny has the same thing at Devil's Bowl, but then IMCA has a 2 valve relief piston. So if a guy from IMCA wants to run an NCRA show he would be considered illegal. Just curious as to why this rule from NCRA?

Kelly I just talked to Chris Smith and he said that the Sport Mod rules are going to be the same as IMCA rules. With the Holidays they just haven't updated the rules. Also as far as I know Lanny is going with IMCA motor rules on the Sportmods or Limited Mods as he calls them

Ok, that makes much more sense.
BTW, if anybody's interested I'm in the process of building one of these engines. If somebody needs a driver I'll supply the engine and yes it will be as best as I can make it, and I have several parts connections as far as buying WD for wheels, tires, shocks, etc.... as well.
Call Kelly at Wesmar Racing Engines 918-691-8096 (cell) and we'll chat more
