These companies combined add $ 1,600.00 to the already stout series purse. We thank the VRA for bringing the fine Leatt Corporation to add to this August series race.
On behalf of the Ventura Racing Association and the Bandit Sprint Car Series we appreciate and thank all of the fans, teams and supporters of this unique series. Please join us in thanking all of these fine businesses who support the Bandit-VRA Grand Slam Challenge Series. We heartily encourage all of our participants to patronize these businesses who in turn support the teams that make up this great series. We are proud of our racers and the quality races they put on.
The Grand Slam is in it's 4 th season which has seen great racing over the years with virtually no rule changes since it's inception. The Grand Slam Series has been tightened up this year with the "Slam" ending on August 23 rd at Ventura Raceway which features the best non-winged sprint car drivers in California. The Series competes throughout central California at Kings Speedway, Bakersfield Speedway, Santa Maria Speedway, and the Ventura Raceway.
We look forward to many successful years of Grand Slam competition.
