Made it for the 360 nationals and the toc all I can say is wow I have never seen anything like it that can compare and wish I had the opportunity to turn some laps when I had a car of my own. The town the people the racing.... the Dingus.... felt like i was in heaven, with some humidity of course

Had my 2 brothers join me this year, 1 came from Hawaii and has been a few years since his last visit, The other from Colorado was his first time and he has text or called me every day since! He loved every bit of it and can not wait until next year. Good times...

Knoxville was amongst 9 straight nights of racing for me, 10 races in 11 days.

I thought the track conditions and the racing was fantastic! Wednesday wasn't the greatest, I guess the track held up too good for more than one groove to be established. The rest of the nights were fantastic barring the crash on Thursday.

Being in Knoxville is like taking a step back in time. I never imagined so many roads left unpaved! LOL

The food was excellent OUTSIDE of the race track (Cattlemans, KinFolks, etc.) ....I found the only thing worth eating at the track was Pizza Hut. I didn't enjoy being railroaded into one brand of beer available at the track though. I'm a believer in choices!

We bought some steaks at the deli downtown and grilled them and they were excellent as well.

A man rode past us at Wal-Mart, asked if we were from out of town, and then thanked us for spending our $ there. I could talk about the trip more, but I'm still in recovery mode.

It won't be next year, but I'm already planning on being back in 2010!
