kh - i always pull for locals over the circus wagons...just wondered why they did not turn up to run against the best of the rest tonight?
is it too late in the season - low on equipment - waiting for next week to run the final hoorah?

Well, personally, I think that many teams are trying to save up for the Nationals, and some may be even getting a 360 ready for the 360 Nationals. You never know I guess.
-People may also be saving money as well, assuming that the 34 Raceway race wasn't a points night if only 23 cars showed up? So saving gas may be another factor for teams. All these questions and no where to really find out besides the teams. From seeing with my dad (josh Higday), now that he is on his own, he'll be spending his money that he usually uses for fun things besides racing, on racing things. But I'm willing to accept because all he's ever wanted to do was race.
So I guess it's just up to the crews and teams to decide what races to go to with gas prices, equipment, season runnings, motors, spares, etc..
