Need your help. We're trying to decorate our 11 month old boy's bedroom in a sprint car theme. Does anyone know if there is a place where we can purchase curtains, bedding, wall paper border, etc.
Any contacts or websites anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance everyone!

my wife and I are doing some cars/racing things in my son's room - he's 5. We took 16 5x7 picture frames, painted half black, half white, and glued them together to make a checkered flag picture frame for various picture of my son with different race cars & drivers.
we also painted his dresser red, the drawer faces black, threw some oversized handles on the side and wheels on the bottom to make it look like a tool box.
As for pre-packaged items, try Lowe's - they have a lot of cars related borders, light covers, etc.

Hi, I think you'll find a lot of sprint car things on this site. http://signs.cafepress.com/sprint-car I've ordered from them and they have good quality merchandise.

We actually painted a sprint car track around the room of our boys room. Each wall has a grass infield on the bottom 3rd of the wall, then the track, then blue for the sky w/ clouds extending onto the ceiling. We took pics off the net of their (and my) fav drivers and blew them up to about 8x10 size and printed them out on our printer on self sticking white paper. Put then all around the track (4 walls) and looks great!
Also had an idea for their dressers, but never ended up doing it. The dressers were pretty plain looking and was going to paint them red and swap out the handles to make them look like rolling tool boxes.
Good luck, post some pics when your done, would like to see the finished results!

next thing you know a photographer is going to get on here and complain about you stealing their photos, and why you couldn't just pay them for some prints! haha!
i don't think Lowes would have much sprint car stuff, i'm afraid... i've only seen #48 stuff around the place

I'm using the 8x10 autograph cards that we get from various drivers and making my own "border". Each one is autographed by the driver to our little guy. Haven't decided on the rest but I like the rolling tool cart idea a previous poster mentioned for the dresser. As soon as the crib is gone, the racing theme is coming out. Mandi
