I saw in the ASCS results that Don raced in Iowa last night. I thought he was running the NCRA. NCRA is having a race today in dodge city kansas. Just wondering if anybody knows if he is going to be at dodge or not. Thats a long drive. I almost couldnt see it. Just curious. Thanks. LETS GO RACIN!!

Think he will be in Dodge. Was to race NCRA last week, 47 car had Lynton Jeffrey in it, but rained out.

Long drives. Edd French used to live & work in El Paso, Tx. On Friday he would drive across the state to Dallas and the Devil's Bowl (check that out on a map - it's a long haul - about 650 miles) then after the races he would leave and drive to Knoxville, Iowa for the Sat. show there (seems like that's about 800 miles) and then drive to Colorado to race on Sunday night. He would then head home to El Paso to go to work Monday. All of this before interstates... or just as they were coming around some. Now that's what I call a lot of miles to race.

Carol,

Edd French back around 1972-73 living in ElPaso,TX,used to show up at a track here in Burlington, IA, almost every Sat night!. And these guys nowadays have someone that all they do is drive the coach/toter to races:) Outlaws,,,,hhmmm?.As you said this was headin up and down the road on nothing but two lanes. I seen Edd at Paris,TX about two years ago racing. He looked pretty much the same as he did when he raced here in 1973!. I understand now Edd now lives in Justin TX. Maybe Justin is supplying Edd with Race Boots!,,:) A very nice gentleman Edd is.Some of the younger generation drivers maybe oughta have to scratch and claw like Edd has. Racing may be fun again!

Take Care
