I work for National Speed Sport News and I'll be attending the Lucas Oil Late Model race in Pontoon Beach and the Nationwide race at Gateway this coming weekend.

I then have a couple days off before I have to be at O'Reilly Speedway in Indy. I was wondering where some cool places in Ill to visit sprint car related. I was planning on visiting Maxim in Springfield on Monday. I'd love to visit some sprint car shops if there are any. I'd love any suggestions.

On Sunday after the Gateway race, I was going to hit up the Arch, a Cardinals game, Anheuser-Busch Brewery, and listen to some jazz music later that night.

I also need someone to help me hand out newspapers at the Nationwide race on Saturday. If anyone knows of someone, email me at [email protected]. Preferably, a woman pleasing to the eyes!!

If your into history you could go to the new Abe Lincoln Museum that is downtown.

If you can get to the area on Thursday, St. Francois County Raceway in Farmington, Missouri will be having a special event that night with several NASCAR drivers on hand and some of them will race modifieds. Sprint cars will race for $2,000 to win. Farmington is approximately 90 miles from the track in Pontoon Beach.
