Lewis And Green Team Up For Another Us Campaign
Author : Greg Boscato SpeedSports

The 2005/6 Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway track champion Trevor Green and Sydney sprintcar identity Barry Lewis are teaming up for a assault on the US West coast sprintcar races this year.

Last year, the Lewis/Green combo were based out of Knoxville taking in many Outlaw and NST events as well as the Knoxville track championship but for this year the team will be based in California. Using Tommy Tarlton’s workshop, the team will race at most of the top West Coast meetings during Australia’s winter off season.

With the extensive program mapped out, the Lewis/Green team is looking for addition support and sponsorship with the Aussie’s confident in giving the local American teams something to think about this year.

Trevor Green certainly impressed many with his form last year and using the latest Australian built Cool sprintcar chassis plus a couple of high horsepower 410 power plants, heaps of spares, they are looking forward to starting the US tour.

Support from an Aussie company maybe be looking to the American market would give the team that added boost as they look forward to winning their fair share of races this year.

One thing is for sure, Trevor Green can win races, and they have the best race equipment, so 2007 is heading in the right direction for Barry Lewis and Trevor Green.

Another story. This one is from www.sprintcardaily.com

Both Sprintcardaily and Sprintcarworld are great websites. If you've never checked them out I definitely suggest it.

For anybody that might not remember Trevor, he is the guy that filled in for Williams Motorsports when Dennis Moore Jr. suffered a broken leg in 2004.

International flavor for 2007 GSCS

Sydney, Australia - The bar has just been raised in the Golden State Challenge Series with the news that the 2006 Parramatta City Raceway track champion, Trevor Green will campaign in California this summer.

Green will drive for his regular car owner, Barry Lewis and will operate out of Tommy Tarlton's workshop in California. Green finished in 11th place in the Outlaws Down Under IV event just completed at Parramatta City Raceway.

Last season Green/Lewis contested the Knoxville Track Championship and the California season will be the team's second consecutive USA campaign.

Green is currently involved in an almighty battle for 2007 track championship honours at Sydney's Parramatta City Raceway with Troy Little (who had a stint with the All Stars in 2006) and Grant Tunks.
