Anyone know the format to be used for this year's Kings Royal?

I can tell you one thing about the format (if it is what is usually used) - it will make the regular outlaw guys upset and we'll hear about it. Normally 6 heats, with 4 or 6 inverted in each. The winner of each heat and the next 4 fastest cars that finish in the top 3 of their heat, transfer to the dash. That's the part I love and gives a darkhorse a chance of starting up front. The heat races are 10 laps. 18 cars make it to the A via the heat races, 4 from the B, and the final two spots to the fastest two qualifiers that don't make the show elsewhere.

If they insist on qualifying, they should do a complete invert for the heats, dash and all mains. That would piss 'em off. LOL Can you say sandbag?

I still like the racing that the ASCS 410 Sprint Bandits format produced, with the qualifying heat and then the heats lined up by passing points.

...I'm sure it will be the usual format for most...

...Thursday: set up camp, drink all day, barbecue, continued drinking at the track or area bars, off to bed in the early morning hours...

...Friday: remedy hangover from Thursday, breakfast (accompanied by Bloody-Mary's or Screwdrivers), continued drinking into the afternoon, corn-hole, barbecue, Knight before the Kings Royal race, continued drinking until sunrise...

...Saturday: only thing curing hangover at this point would be a blood transfusion (so why bother), morning and afternoon schedule much the same as Friday, Kings Royal, continued debauchery well into Sunday morning...

...Sunday: figuring out who is missing from camp and then collecting bail money as needed, breaking camp, return home, rehab for some, for others begin the 364 day countdown until the next Kings Royal...

Thats a very good run-down Gasitup.

You missed your calling, or should I say, where is it that you call races at?
